Like Jeremiah or Cassandra, what good is predicting the future if no one will act on it?
Need to have good senior management or your best employees, practices, web analytics, and database integrations wither on the vine.

I will say that gifted analysts are able to do the right things, behind the scenes, so that even if management doesn't understand or care, the business is still more profitable as a result.
